Listed ranges are CH4 0–100%, CO2 0–100% and O2 0–25%. H2S (0–10,000 ppm) is an option, and an optional temperature probe reads gas temperature. The analyzer also calculates balance gas and flow (SCFM).

Where is the BIOGAS 5000 used?

It is used on farm digesters, in food processing, at wastewater facilities and on methane recovery projects. Readings and calibration data are stored on board and can be downloaded, and the unit works with LANDTEC Bio Pro software for a calibration audit trail, which supports carbon credit reporting.

What are the field specifications?

Weight 1.6 kg, about 8 hours of battery life, IP65 enclosure

ATEX Zone 1, IECEx, CSA and MCERTS certified

User field calibration, startup self-test, user-interchangeable filters

3-year warranty

How does it compare with the GEM5000?

Both are QED landfill and biogas analyzers.
