POLYDILUTION® TE-CAP Series - Emulsion

Polyelectrolyte in Emulsion!

Polyelectrolyte preparation and dosing equipment has been designed for use with our range of sludge dewatering equipment.

These automatic units are suitable for applications where a liquid based polyelectrolyte must be fed on a continuous basis with accurate control of dilution and ageing. The automatic units are suitable for large waste water treatment plants where the MONOBELT® and SCRUDRAIN® are installed.

These units are produced in two models, one to prepare up to 2.000 l/h of solution, the other to prepare up to 6.000 l/h. The working sequence is governed
by a digital controller with display, and takes place in the following
way:
- Initially the water passes through a “water control group”, necessary to regulate its quantity and pressure, passing afterwards through a static mixer, inside which there is the first contact with the emulsion.
- Emulsion is dosed by a high viscosity special pump (55.000 cps) with variable flow.
- At this stage water/poly solution passes through the tank where, with the aid of an electric stirrer, there is the complete dispersion of the polymer.
- Via a siphon, the water/poly solution passes to an ageing and storage tank, from which it is taken and delivered to the usage point.
The level sensor installed in the ageing and storage tank controls the correct operation of the plant and reports any alarm conditions
The whole process takes a guaranteed time of at least 20 minutes, to allow sufficient ageing, even for the most “difficult” emulsions

This series of equipment are made of anticorrosive materials and all metal parts are manufactured from stainless steel AISI 304.
