Consumables and tools for water monitoring work. For dissolved oxygen meters with galvanic probes: replacement DO membranes, sold in packs of five, and DO electrolyte solution in 30 mL bottles. For groundwater profiling: the Solinst Drive-Point Profiler, a 1.75 in. (45 mm) stainless steel tool that a rig pushes, vibrates or hammers into the ground to collect groundwater samples from several discrete depths at one location, through 4 mm LDPE or PTFE tubing and a peristaltic pump. Developed at the University of Waterloo, it is used for high-resolution sampling, contaminant-versus-depth profiles and detailed plume delineation, with the water table up to 26 ft (8 m) deep.

Water monitoring accessories FAQ

Which DO probes do these fit?

Galvanic dissolved oxygen probes. Check the probe's maker and model against the membrane before you order, or send us the meter model with your quote request.

What does the Drive-Point Profiler do?

It collects groundwater samples at discrete zones from a single drive or drilling location, so one push gives a profile of contamination against depth instead of one sample per well.

Where are the other water monitoring instruments?

Water level meters, dataloggers, water quality meters and flow meters are in Water and Liquid Monitoring.
