This collection covers what happens after a liquid escapes: detect it, sound the alarm, and report it. Leak detection: LeakDtec controllers (one or four channels, with audible and visual alarm), LeakPro modules and the LeakPoint controller, fed by LD plastic leak switches, LDS proximity sensors and the PES photoelectric sensor (0 to 40 cm). Alarms: ProAlert visual and audible sentry alarms, including the explosion-proof ProAlert XPA. Remote monitoring: Sentinel tank monitors report over cellular or satellite, one on a 5-year lithium battery, and the LRT-4000 LoRa pair links a sensor to a distant panel. Logging and display: ITC data loggers and controllers. Icon is quoted.

Leak detection FAQ

Which leak sensor?

The LD switch and the LDS proximity sensor trip when liquid reaches them, so they go where a leak would collect; the PES photoelectric sensor sees liquid within 0 to 40 cm. Check the wetted material against the liquid (the LD is polypropylene), then wire it to a LeakDtec, LeakPro or LeakPoint controller for the alarm and relay.

How do I get an alert off site?

A Sentinel monitor sends tank levels and alarms over cellular or satellite; the battery model runs about five years on a lithium pack and accepts a 4–20 mA sensor. Where there is no network, the LRT-4000 LoRa pair carries RS-485, 4–20 mA or digital signals over a long-range radio link.

Do you have an alarm for hazardous locations?

Yes: the ProAlert XPA is an explosion-proof audible alarm. The other ProAlert models are visual and audible sentry alarms for general industrial use, and the ProAlert 5000 adds a display with 4–20 mA and two relays.
