A free-flowing powder runs into a sampler when it opens, so thieves, slot and pocket samplers fill at the chosen depth and are closed before you withdraw them. A cohesive powder flows poorly and does not run in on its own: lances and cohesive samplers have a scraper beside the slot or pocket, and you rotate the sampler through 360° to push product inside.
A single-use SteriWare sampler needs no cleaning and no cleaning validation, and nothing carries over from one batch to the next; each is individually bagged with full batch traceability. Stainless samplers are reusable but must be cleaned between uses; cleaning brushes and sampler cases are part of the range.
In stainless steel or GMP plastic containers. The 316L Stainless Containers (1 to 30 L) are airtight once the tri-ferrule lid is clamped and come with a certificate of conformity for the steel grade and finish; Toggle Drums from 2 L are fully welded and mirror polished; Mini-Drums (1 to 15 L) come in 304 or 316L with drop-on lids; White GMP PP Tubs (250 and 500 ml) have a wide neck for powders and creams.
Sack samplers go in through the side of the sack; an Ultra Adhesive QC label over the hole stops leaks. The Sack Clip closes the top of an open sack with a ratchet and a second positive lock.
