Often not. The US EPA field logbook procedure asks for bound, paginated books from which pages are never removed, and spiral and loose-leaf formats let pages come out. Check your project's rule first; see our field book guide.
A pressurized pen such as the Rite in the Rain clicker pen: its pressurized cartridge writes upside down and underwater, from -30 °F to 250 °F.
Measure the casing: plugs are sized to the inside of the pipe and its schedule. EcoPlugs fit 1, 2 and 4 in. Schedule 40, Torque plugs 1 to 4 in. in Schedule 80, 40 and 5, and Cherne caps 2 to 8 in. Schedule 40 PVC.
