A first aid kit must match the workplace rules where it is used. Dynamic Safety's Ontario First Aid Kits are built to Ontario WSIB Regulation 1101 (Section 8) in four configurations: Kit A for 1 to 5 employees, Kit #1 for 6 to 15, Kit #2 for 16 to 200, and a special TFB kit, in plastic or metal boxes. Vehicle First Aid Kits are made for trucks, cars, school buses and fleets, in plastic, metal or nylon, with 10 to 36 units of contents such as bandages, gauze, triangular bandages and emergency supplies. Special Purpose First Aid Kits are tailored to non-industrial settings: daycare, office, pool and home. All three are registered as Class 1 medical devices in Canada.

First aid kit FAQ

Which Ontario kit do I need?

Count the workers per shift at the location: Kit A covers 1 to 5, Kit #1 covers 6 to 15, and Kit #2 covers 16 to 200.

Do these kits meet other provinces' rules?

The Ontario kits are built to Ontario's regulation. Other provinces set their own contents and kit sizes; check your province's first aid regulation before ordering, and tell us which one applies.

For eyewash, see Eye Protection.

What is in a vehicle kit?

Contents vary by kit, from A to G: sterile pressure bandages, gauze pads and rolls, triangular bandages, eye pads, alcohol and cleansing wipes, and a first aid manual in the larger kits.
