Manual cleaning or a washer?
For manual and ultrasonic cleaning, use Alconox, Liquinox, Tergazyme or Citranox. Labware washers, parts washers and spray systems need a low-foaming detergent: Alcojet, Solujet, Tergajet, Detojet or Citrajet.
Which detergent for trace metal analysis?
Citranox, a phosphate-free acid cleaner (pH 2.5, diluted 2:100) that removes metal oxides, scale, salts and inorganic residues; Alconox lists it as ideal for trace metal analysis. Citrajet is the low-foaming acid version for washers.
Which one for protein or biological residues?
Tergazyme: its protease enzyme removes proteinaceous soils, tissue, blood and body fluids from glassware, metals and plastics, and it is also listed as a cleaning agent for reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration systems.
