Powder Sampling Accessories

The parts that keep a powder sampling kit working. Cleaning brushes screw onto a handle and clean stainless and plastic sampler tubes: narrow brushes for tubes up to 14 mm, standard brushes up to 30 mm, 600 to 2,100 mm long. The Jumbo Sampler Case is foam lined and extends from 1.8 to 2.4 m for long samplers, and the 316L Sampler Stand (a pair) holds samplers up to 35 mm in diameter. Earthing Lugs can be welded to almost any stainless steel scoop, sampler or container as a grounding point. The Sack Clip closes a sack after sampling with a ratchet and a second lock. Also here: a 316L sieving tool and the Silo Rocket Sampler (500 ml), whose wide handle gives leverage in dense powders.

Why fit an earthing lug?

An earthing lug gives a fixed point to connect a grounding wire to a stainless steel scoop, sampler or container, for work with flammable solvents or in ATEX-rated environments. It is an extra-cost option, welded to the item.

Which cleaning brush?

Match the brush to the sampler tube: narrow brushes clean tubes up to 14 mm across, standard brushes tubes up to 30 mm. The heads screw onto the handle, and both suit stainless steel and plastic samplers.

How do I carry long samplers?
