Jugs for measuring, pouring and transferring liquids and powders. Stainless steel: the Stainless Jugs in 304 (500 to 5,000 ml) or 316L, highly polished for easy cleaning and graduated every 100 ml up to the 2,000 ml size, and the wide Conical Jugs (500 to 2,000 ml) with easy-to-read graduations and an ergonomic handle. Single-use SteriWare jugs are moulded and packed in a cleanroom, individually bagged and used straight from the bag: graduated PP jugs of 500 and 1,000 ml and a 2,000 ml HDPE jug, sterile or non-sterile, and a blue metal-detectable PP jug of 500 or 1,000 ml with a sturdy base and a pouring spout.
Measuring jug FAQ
Stainless steel or single-use?
Stainless jugs are reusable and their polished finish cleans easily between batches. SteriWare jugs need no cleaning and no cleaning validation, and nothing carries over between batches; each comes in its own bag with full batch traceability.
Which jugs are graduated?
The stainless jugs up to 2,000 ml (marks every 100 ml), the conical jugs and the SteriWare PP jugs of 500 and 1,000 ml. The 3,000 and 5,000 ml stainless jugs, the 2,000 ml HDPE jug and the metal-detectable jug are not graduated.
Are the single-use jugs sterile?
The graduated PP jugs and the 2,000 ml HDPE jug come sterile (SAL 10⁻⁶) or non-sterile. The metal-detectable jug is non-sterile, 4 to a box, and a metal detector can pick it up if a piece ends up in product.
