Disposable coveralls are worn once and discarded so contamination stays in the work area. RONCO Care and CoverMe polypropylene coveralls are for dry particulates in non-hazardous settings. Microporous coveralls go further: the XP 1800, the XP 1800 with boots and the XP 2000 print Type 5/6, and the XP 1000 lists moderate chemical resistance. Also disposable: lab coats, gowns, vinyl and poly aprons, sleeves and shoe covers, many CFIA-accepted for food plants, and PrimaCut cut-resistant sleeves. Visibility: Dynamic CSA traffic vests, a tear-away surveyor's vest and traffic T-shirts to CSA Z96 Class 2, and the RONCO traffic vest.

Body protection FAQ

Polypropylene or microporous coverall?

Polypropylene for dry, non-hazardous particulates; microporous for finer particles and light splash. Only the XP 1800 line and the XP 2000 print Type 5/6. See our disposable coverall guide.

What do Type 5 and Type 6 mean?

Type 5 covers airborne solid particles; Type 6 covers limited liquid splash. The label is a minimum test, not a chemical-resistance guarantee: check the chemical against the maker's data, and pair the coverall with the right respirator and gloves.

Which hi-vis class do I need?

The vests and T-shirts here are CSA Z96 Class 2, with 360° retroreflective tape; tear-away styles break free if snagged. Your employer's hazard assessment and provincial rules set the class required for the job.
