FRP Tanks
ERE FRP water treatment tanks in two sizes on one design: the 60 in. ER-FRP6096 for multimedia, carbon, iron and manganese and softening, and the 72 in. ER-FRP7296 for high-flow filtration, pretreatment and RO pre-filters, both about 96 in. tall.
ERE's FRP water treatment tanks are filament-wound fibreglass vessels in two sizes on one design. The ER-FRP6096 is 60 in. (1,500 mm) across and recommended for multimedia filtration, carbon adsorption, iron and manganese removal and softeners. The ER-FRP7296 is 72 in. (1,800 mm) across and recommended for high-flow filtration, industrial pretreatment, RO pre-filters and wastewater polishing. Both stand about 96 in. (2,400 mm) tall on an integral FRP base with lifting lugs, and share the same connections: a 20 in. bolted top and side manhole, a 6 in. flanged side discharge and a 3 1/8 in. flanged top inlet, so changing size does not change the piping plan.
FRP tank FAQ
60 in. or 72 in.?
Diameter buys area faster than volume. The 72 in. tank has 44% more filtration area (28.3 against 19.6 ft²) but only about 16% more straight-shell volume, because its shell is shorter for the same overall height. Size by the flow per square foot your media needs. See our FRP tank guide.
Is the tank pressure-rated?
Ask us for the rating before you specify it. Canadian provinces generally require a Canadian Registration Number (CRN) under CSA B51 for pressure-retaining equipment above 15 psig, which matters for installations in more than one province.
What goes inside?
The media for the job: multimedia or zeolite for filtration, activated carbon for organics and chlorine, oxidizing media for iron and manganese, or softening resin. See water filtration media.
