Pallet knives for mixing, spreading, cutting, scraping and levelling off scoops. The stainless knives use 420 grade steel, which is flexible and corrosion resistant: the blade springs back after use, where 304 and 316 would not. Choose a wooden handle (105 to 305 mm blades), a PVC handle (100 to 300 mm), or the GMP Pallet Knife and crevice-free GMP knives with blades up to 350 mm. Single-use SteriWare knives are moulded and packed in a cleanroom: the HDPE SteriWare Pallet Knife and SteriWare Knife, sterile or not, the sterile, double-bagged ULTRA pallet knife (200 mm) and a blue metal-detectable pallet knife.
It is flexible and has excellent corrosion resistance, so the blade bends and returns to its original position; 304 and 316 stainless steel do not have that flexibility.
The crevice-free GMP pallet knives, which clean completely, or single-use SteriWare knives, which need no cleaning at all; the ULTRA knife is double bagged so the outer bag comes off at the cleanroom entrance.
