Everything on this page is used once and thrown away, so there is no cleaning, no cleaning validation and no carry-over between batches. The SteriWare range is assembled and packed in a cleanroom, individually bagged, made from FDA, EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011 conforming HDPE, PP or polystyrene, and fully batch traceable. For bulk powder: the Powder Thief, Slot Sampler and Mono Slot Sampler, the 1 m Powder Sampler, the Powder Lance and Powder Probe, and the Sack and Bag Sampler. For small samples and dispensing: spatulas, micro-spatulas, spoons, PharmaScoops, funnels, bowls and powder bottles. The ULTRA range is sterile, double-bagged USP Class VI HDPE.
Free-flowing powders and granules: the Powder Thief, where product falls in around the tip; the Slot Sampler, for a 50 ml multilevel sample; or the Mono Slot Sampler, with one slot near the tip. Cohesive and sticky powders: the Powder Lance, pushed in, rotated and withdrawn, with a 300 or 500 mm blade (75 or 125 ml). Through the side of a sack: the Sack and Bag Sampler or the Disposable Sack Sampler, with a bag held over the end to catch the sample.
Most items come both ways. Sterile versions carry a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10⁻⁶, for microbiological work; non-sterile ones suit samples where cleanliness, not sterility, is the requirement. The Disposable Sack Sampler is also suitable for use in ATEX zones 0, 1 and 2.
