Overview

The MicroFloc™ ER-93-500 treats wastewater in batches with dry flocculant, a mixer and a gravity bag dewatering unit. Flocculant goes into the 500 L stainless steel mixing tank by scoop, the mixer builds the floc, and a low-shear pump transfers the batch to one, two or three filter bags that drain to about 15 % dry solids: you roll out a cake, not a slurry. Robust, simple to operate and modular, it is designed and assembled in Québec and runs on 230 V single-phase power.

  • No chemical feed system: dry flocculant goes in by scoop, so there is nothing to pump, dilute or calibrate
  • A cake, not a slurry: bags drain by gravity to about 15 % dry solids; roll the bag out on its trolley and tie it off
  • No consumable paper: one filter bag per fill, with no rolls, no paper waste and no drive to jam
  • Simple electrical connection: 230 V / 1 Ph / 60 Hz, 30 A, with no three-phase supply and no compressed air
  • Three sizes on one platform: 1, 2 or 3 bags for 12, 24 or 36 kg of dry solids per day
  • 500 L mixing tank in 3 mm 304 stainless steel with a 1.5 kW paddle mixer (CSA motor) and a conical bottom drain
  • Control panel with mixer VFD and adjustable timers, low-shear progressive cavity transfer pump and painted carbon-steel skid
  • Paints and coatings: wash water, booth water and gun cleaning
  • Machining and grinding: fines, swarf and water-soluble coolants
  • Equipment and floor washing: wash water with silt and oil
  • Construction and remediation: dewatering fines, drilling mud and excavation water
  • Pilot and laboratory work: test the flocculant dose before scaling up

Send your flow, solids load and lab results with a quote request and we will size the system.
