How the WATERPODS 75™ Works

Contaminated water is pumped through a staged treatment train: a 25-micron bag filter for coarse solids, a 10-micron bag filter for finer particulate, then a carbon (or alternate media) vessel before discharge. The train can be reconfigured by adjusting the valves to suit the contaminant profile.

The carbon stage uses Acid Washed UltraSorber™ bituminous coal carbon (Model No. BC-830) for removal of BTEX, chlorinated solvents and PAH. An optional UltraSorber™ Plus Clay media targets dissolved minerals, oil and grease, and the vessel can be filled half carbon / half clay. Media may need to be filled on site.
