Three decades of environmental equipment expertise.
ERE is a family-owned, Montréal-based one-stop shop for environmental and industrial equipment. Instruments, filter bags, remediation systems, calibration, repair, rentals, chemicals — all under one roof, since 1994.

Started in his parents' garage at 27.
In 1994, Angelo Diadelfo was a 27-year-old environmental technician with a passion for building systems and the science of remediation. He saw a gap — nobody was engineering custom solutions matched to the specific contaminants on a site. So he started ERE out of his parents' garage, a solo operation manufacturing remediation systems.
Word spread. Angelo built a reputation for solving problems other suppliers couldn't. Over 30 years, that one-man garage operation grew into a team of ~25, including his wife Diana Trasente and their two sons — all involved in the day-to-day. Angelo himself is still on the phone with clients troubleshooting contamination problems, still designing custom systems, still quoting projects, still doing the dirty work when it needs doing.
What started as remediation expanded department by department into a true one-stop shop: PID gas detectors, soil sampling, industrial filter bags, calibration, repair, instrument rentals — even our own chemical line, Janitori. Today ERE is known across Canada for fast turnaround, expert service, and a team that actually knows the equipment because they built the company around it.
"If someone calls with a contamination problem, I want to be able to solve it — not send them somewhere else."
Three decades, one direction.
Started in a garage
Angelo Diadelfo, 27 years old, starts ERE solo — manufacturing custom remediation systems out of his parents' garage in Montreal.
Expanded beyond remediation
Grew into instrument sales, rentals, calibration, and repair. Started building the one-stop-shop model.
Moved to 8605 Champ d'Eau
Outgrew the original shop. Upgraded to a proper facility in St-Leonard with dedicated calibration lab and warehouse.
True one-stop shop
Added filtration (Sampson brand), safety equipment, soil and water sampling, lab supplies. Customers stopped needing five suppliers.
Launched Janitori
Developed our own chemical line for industrial cleaning and maintenance — manufactured in-house.
New 12,000 sq ft warehouse
Outgrew Champ d'Eau again. Acquired a second facility dedicated to remediation system manufacturing.
Major infrastructure projects
Treating water for the Montreal REM (McGill/Ste-Catherine station) and air in the La Fontaine Tunnel with our Airguard 1250.
Three rules, three decades.
One-stop shop, not a parts counter
Instruments, filters, chemicals, remediation systems, calibration, repair, rentals — all under one roof. We expanded department by department because our customers were tired of calling five suppliers.
Family-run, owner on the floor
Angelo still quotes, troubleshoots on the phone, designs custom systems, and does the dirty work when needed. His wife Diana and two sons work alongside a team of ~25. You deal with people who own what they sell.
Built for the job site, not the boardroom
We started in a garage building remediation systems. Every product we add, every service we offer comes from 30+ years of field experience. If it doesn't solve a real problem on a real site, it doesn't make the catalog.
Six reasons our customers stay.
We started as one guy in a garage. Thirty years later we're trusted on Montréal's biggest infrastructure projects. Here's why customers who find us tend to stay.
Family-owned since 1994
Started in a garage, now two facilities and ~25 employees. Same family, same standards, same phone number.
Everything under one roof
Instruments, filter bags, remediation systems, calibration, repair, rentals, chemicals. Stop calling five different suppliers.
Bilingual coast-to-coast
Quotes, tech support, manuals, training — all in both languages. Montreal-based, Canada-wide.
Founder still on the phone
Angelo personally troubleshoots, designs custom systems, and quotes projects. You talk to people who know the equipment because they built the company around it.
Emergency response ready
Oil spills, contamination events, urgent decontamination — we deploy equipment and expertise on short notice. When the call comes, we show up.
REM · La Fontaine Tunnel
Trusted on Montreal's biggest infrastructure: decontaminating water for the REM station at McGill/Ste-Catherine, treating air in the La Fontaine Tunnel.
Two Montréal facilities. Growing into the work.

Remediation workshop (new)
12,000 sq ft dedicated to building custom systems — air strippers, SVE units, the Airguard line, Mini Flock, and custom treatment rigs.
8605 Champ d'Eau (HQ)
Instrument rentals, filter bag inventory, general stock, and Janitori chemical manufacturing. The original facility.
Calibration lab
Factory-certified cylinders, PID/IR/CO2 stations, automated bump benches. Every instrument calibrated before dispatch.
Shipping & logistics
In-house fulfillment. Overnight to most Canadian metros, same-day pickup in Montreal.
By the numbers.
Three decades of building, calibrating, repairing, and shipping — for environmental teams across Canada.
