Max. Width When Fully Open: 275 mm (10.8'') | Length: 195 mm (7.7'') | Volume: 250 ml

• The 6 ft adjustable fiberglass pole extends to 12 ft

Adjustable aluminum pole: 4–6.5 ft (1.22–1.99 m) | Included bottle: 500 mL polyethylene | Compatible bottle range: 250–1,000 mL | Holder: polyurethane with snapper ring | 3-piece housing

Stainless steel construction | 2-1/4" & 3-1/4" diameters | 8"–12" lengths | 5/8" threaded connection | One-way valved core & auger tips

Stainless steel | 1-1/4" dia x 24" length | 5/8" thread connection | Heat-treated replaceable core tip | Accepts 1" core catcher + 1" x 24" plastic liner

1-1/4 in (3.2 cm) OD tubing | 15 ft overall — three 5 ft sections | 177 mL/ft (6 oz/ft) capacity | For settleable solids 5% or less | 1 ft graduation markers

Polycarbonate w/ UV stabilizer | 3/4 in (1.9 cm) OD tube, blue 1-ft markings | 3 x 5 ft sections (15 ft total) | Withstands heat to 280°F (138°C) | For ≤5% settleable solids
Pick the sampler by what you need back. Settled-solids depth: the Nasco Sludge Judge, Sludge Judge Ultra (UV-stabilized polycarbonate, heat to 138 °C) and Sludge Judge II (1 1/4 in. tube, double the capacity) come in 5 ft sections with a check valve that traps the whole column, read against 1 ft markings, for settleable solids up to 5%. Liquids and slurries: the Sludge Nabber (4 to 6.5 ft pole, 250 to 1,000 mL bottles) and the Swing Sampler for sewers and channels. Sludge and sediment cores: AMS sludge samplers with valved tips, the Multi-Stage Sludge Sampler and the Sand Sludge Sediment Probe. Bottom grabs: the stainless Snapper.
Lower it slowly and vertically to the bottom, let the valve seat, raise it at a steady rate, then read both the liquid line and the settled-solids line on the graduations. Rinse it between sampling points. Our Sludge Judge protocol gives the full sequence.
The standard 3/4 in. model for routine readings; the Sludge Judge II, with 1 1/4 in. tubing, for double the sample and a more rigid unit; the Sludge Judge Ultra, in polycarbonate with a UV stabilizer, for sun exposure and heat up to 138 °C.
The AMS sludge samplers hold non-cohesive sludge with a one-way valved tip; the Sand Sludge Sediment Probe uses a core catcher and a 24 in. liner; the Snapper grabs silt and small stones from the bottom of rivers, lakes and tanks.
