How the 12V Abyss® Pump Works
The 12V Abyss® is an engineered-plastic submersible pump with low amperage draw (5 A max, 75 W). It runs on a 12–15V supply from a battery, a 50 A gas-driven 12V Crusader® generator, a weatherproof 110/220V step-down transformer, or a solar arrangement using an 80 A solar charger and deep-cycle marine batteries. It can run continuously — and even run dry — 24/7.
Two models are offered: the Abyss® Standard, rated to 220 ft, and the Abyss® 300, rated to 300 ft.
