How OxyClean Advanced™ 18SR Works
OxyClean Advanced™ 18SR carries out enhanced aerobic bioremediation of groundwater or soil through extended release of the oxygen required by aerobic microorganisms. It is particularly suited to the treatment of BTEX, MTBE, TPH, PAH, Phenol and Cresol, Heavy Metal Oxidation, High Explosives, and Non-Halogenated and Halogenated Compounds.
The product is a fine, very pale yellow, odourless powder consisting primarily of calcium peroxide. The rate of gaseous oxygen generation is influenced by the physical and chemical properties of the surrounding medium, such as pH and temperature. With typically 17.3% active oxygen and very slow water solubility, it releases oxygen over many months.
