Vibrasorb® Damping Mounts isolate sensitive analytical balances and other instruments from vibrations caused by nearby equipment such as pumps, stirrers, and blenders. Molded of dense black & white terrazzo, these 64 mm (2 1/2") thick platforms are supported on four Vibro-Absorber™ cushions and neoprene feet and support up to 16 kg (35 lbs). The larger size Damping Mount will absorb vibrations down to 13 Hz. The smaller size Damping Mount will absorb vibrations down to 16 Hz with a 16 kg (35 lbs) load. With lighter loads, the minimum frequency of damping will increase to a value between 16 Hz and 25 Hz. A polished surface resists scratches and chemical attack. Overall height is 76 mm (3"). Available in two sizes.
