How the UltraSorber Air™ Vessels Work

UltraSorber Air™ uses granular activated carbon to adsorb organic contaminants from an air stream. A specially constructed plenum chamber distributes flow evenly across the carbon bed, ensuring efficient utilization of the media. Air enters the vessel and passes through the activated carbon, which captures toxic vapors, irritant and corrosive gases, and noxious odors before clean air is discharged.

Each vessel is carbon-steel constructed with a top carbon fill and empty port, plenum chamber, temperature gauge, pressure gauge, and forklift frame. Standard sizes are easily installed in hours at the facility or site.
