How the Dulex™ Multiphase Extraction System Works

The Dulex™ system applies high vacuum to a single well to simultaneously extract hydrocarbon contaminants (LNAPL), groundwater, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Extracting groundwater creates a cone of depression that influences and contains migrating hydrocarbons toward the extraction well. Recovered fluids pass through the Tornado™ knockout tank and OlioSep™ oil/water separator, while water is polished through UltraSorber™ water treatment media and the air stream is treated through the UltraSorber™ air effluent treatment unit.
