Overview

Optical readers connect a Solinst Levelogger 6 or Levelogger 5 Series datalogger to a PC running Levelogger Software through a USB-C port, to program loggers and download data. The Desktop Reader is the usual choice in the office; the Field Reader is used on site with loggers deployed on wireline or cord.

  • USB-C connection for current laptops and PCs, recognized as a HID device
  • 57600 bps communication with Levelogger 6 Series dataloggers
  • Desktop Reader: the most stable connection for programming and downloading in the office
  • Field Reader: connects on site to Leveloggers deployed on wireline or cord (not on a Direct Read Cable)
  • Works with Levelogger 6 and Levelogger 5 Series dataloggers; a Levelogger Edge needs the Edge-L5/L6 DRC Adaptor
