Spill response and maintenance FAQ

Oil-only, universal or HazMat spill kit?

Pick the type before the size. Oil-only kits absorb petroleum and repel water, universal kits take oil, coolants and water-based fluids, and HazMat kits are for aggressive chemicals such as acids and caustics. See our spill kit guide.

How do I keep a spill out of a drain?

Cover it. The Ultra-Drain Seal is a reusable polyurethane pad that deforms to seal most drains and smooth surfaces, either side down; Ultra-Drain Plugs fit drains from 2 to 12 in. and resist oil, water and most aggressive chemicals.

How do I store gas cylinders?

In a rack, stand or dolly built for them. ENPAC's 6 Pack Cylinder Rack holds cylinders 3 to 10 in. in diameter, fits through standard doorways and is forkliftable; the 2 Cylinder Poly Stand mounts on a wall, and the Dual Cylinder Dolly moves two cylinders up to 12 in. across.
