PacTec packaging for moving contaminated soil, sludge and hazardous waste by truck, rail or container. TransLiner form-fit liners line roll-off containers, dumpsters, end dump trailers, lugger boxes and rail gondolas, with the seals outside the container for leak protection. RailPac liners are made to a railcar's exact size with a patented zipper closure, for construction debris, contaminated soil, sludges and ash. TransPac bags line large containers for asbestos, powders, odorous and high-heat materials, and the TransPac Transformer Containment Bag holds a leaking pole-mount transformer for transport. LiftPac FIBCs are IP-1 and IP-2 certified bulk bags for soil, gravel and debris, and the self-standing LiftPac bulk bag (1 yd³, UN rated) holds the equivalent of four 55-gallon drums.

What do IP-1 and IP-2 mean?

They are industrial package certifications under US DOT 49 CFR and IAEA SSR-6 transport rules. LiftPac FIBCs are certified IP-1 for all forms of material, including single solid items such as metal containers, and IP-2 for homogeneous flowable solids such as soil, gravel and demolition debris. RailPac liners are IP-1 certified.

Liner or bulk bag?

A liner turns a container you already use, such as a roll-off, dump trailer or railcar, into leak-protected transport for solids and sludge, and a TransLiner can also cover the load for dust and odour control. A bulk bag is the container itself, shipped by rail, flatbed, dump truck, intermodal container or barge.

Can it be sized to my container?

RailPac liners are designed to your railcar's exact specifications, with custom sizes always available; TransPac bags have custom options such as multiple spouts, an open top or an open end; TransLiners come in many standard sizes and thicknesses.
