How the 12V Stainless Steel XL Pump Works
The pump is lowered downhole on its dedicated tubing and powered from a 12V DC source via the matched controller (sold separately). A bottom debris filter screen protects the pump in high-turbidity wells, and a low-flow control valve (included) regulates output for EPA low-flow sampling. The replaceable motor module simplifies field service.
Flow rate decreases with pumping depth. Three models are offered — Monsoon® XL, Hurricane® XL, and Mega-Monsoon® XL — each rated to a different maximum depth and current draw. A matched controller is required for each model.
