
How the BioVent™ Soil Biopile Treatment System Works
BioVent™ enhances biodegradation within soil by drawing vapour through manifolds installed on the biopile cells. Each system can be custom fabricated to suit the specific site.
The skid-mounted package routes air through a moisture knockout tank — with level controls and a 10 GPM transfer pump protected by a pressure switch — and a bag filter vessel, monitored by a main vacuum gauge (0–60" H2O) and inlet temperature gauge. An 8" flange inlet / 6" outlet and inlet butterfly valve handle flow. A NEMA 4 weatherproof control panel manages the blower and provides metering, indication and alarms.
