Overview

OlioSep™ Plastic Oil Separators are corrosion-proof oil/water separators built from heavy-duty polyethylene for sites where stainless steel is unnecessary or where water chemistry favours a non-metallic vessel. A clear inspection lid lets operators monitor the oil layer and coalescing media at a glance. Custom-built at ERE's Montréal facility.

How It Works

Oily wastewater enters a pre-settling compartment where heavier solids drop out. The water then passes through coalescing media where dispersed oil droplets merge and float to the surface, collecting in a dedicated oil reservoir. Clarified water discharges from the outlet. The process runs entirely on gravity and the density difference between oil and water — no energy input.
