The RKI AC-2S is a photoemission yield spectrometer in air (PYSA) by Riken Keiki that measures the work function of metals and the ionization potential of semiconductors and organic materials without a vacuum chamber. A low-intensity UV beam and an open electron counter give a reading in about 5 minutes with 0.02 eV repeatability.
- Measures work function and ionization potential in air: no vacuum, samples go in and out in seconds
- Standard work function measurement in about 5 minutes (4.2 to 6.2 eV scan, 0.1 eV steps)
- Repeatability 0.02 eV standard deviation on a gold plate
- Low-intensity UV limits sample damage; open counter reads up to 4,000 electrons per second

- AC-2S Pro α: down to 2.0 eV for anode and low work function materials, plus high UV intensity

- Pro models add a heated stage to 100 °C, film thickness measurement and a long-life LDLS light source

How fast will I get a price?

Can we pay on account or by purchase order?
Yes. With established credit, terms are Net 30 days, and you can send your purchase order with the quote request. We also accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
How is shipping charged?
On quotes and account orders, freight is F.O.B. Montréal: the carrier charge is worked out at shipment from the packed weight and dimensions, and added to your invoice. In-stock items can also be picked up the same day in Montréal (8605 rue du Champ-d'Eau).
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of purchase, with a return authorization number from customer service first. A 25% restocking fee applies, unless it is a defect covered by the warranty. Special orders, hazardous materials, flammable liquids and gases can't be returned. Return policy
