Overview

The RKI T3A is a 3-wire explosion-proof fixed gas detector and transmitter. It uses electrochemical, infrared or catalytic bead sensors, runs on 12 to 35 VDC and outputs 4-20 mA and RS-485 Modbus, with magnetic switches for non-intrusive calibration.

  • 4-20 mA (3-wire) and RS-485 Modbus outputs standard
  • Sunlight readable 102 x 64 graphic LCD with white LED backlight
  • Magnetic switches for non-intrusive field calibration, settings and diagnostics
  • 2 configurable alarm set points with LEDs; optional 2 dry-contact relays with 4 A fuses
  • Operates from -40 to +54 °C
  • Optional remote sensor kit: up to 250 ft (electrochemical), 40 ft (infrared) or 15 ft (catalytic bead)
  • Works with RKI Beacon 110, 200, 410A, 800 and MC-6400 controllers and most DCS / PLC systems
  • Main enclosure CQPSUS Class I Div 1 and 2 Groups B C D; NEMA 3, 4, 4X, 7 and 9

Both include the junction box. Other T3A sensors (LEL, CO, H2S, O2, NH3, Cl2, SO2, NO2 and more) are available on request. Request a quote for pricing and availability.
