How the VOCease™ Air Stripper Works
The ERE VOCease™ system consists of a stainless steel baffled tank with patented diffusers and an air blower, providing superior contaminant removal rates reaching 99.9% efficiency. A sight glass cover allows supervision of the stripping process.
Air is pumped in by a blower through the air inlet and into the stainless steel diffusers, which provide the bubbling and shearing required to strip contaminants. Simultaneously, contaminated water is pumped into the tank and travels in a snake-like motion through the baffles, with the required residence time in each baffle to promote stripping of the target contaminant. Treated water is discharged by gravity or mechanically by a pump, while stripped contaminants exit through a gas vent at the rear. The vapor stream is either discharged to air or treated with an air filtration system such as UltraSorber™ Air Treatment Media.
