How the Olio-Skim™ Works
The Olio-Skim™ floats at the oil/water interface, where free oil naturally accumulates above the water column. Oil and water are drawn through the skimming head and delivered to a Vertical Gravity Separator (VGS) for final separation.
Because the skimming head is adjustable, the operator can raise or lower the amount of oil or water being skimmed to match changing effluent levels — ideal for food-industry and industrial wastewater where conditions vary and floating solids have already been screened.
